Alloy Development

The introduction of a new process such as SEBM offers great potential for specific alloy developments due to new process conditions. The development of specific alloys bases on an in-house developed software tool using multi-criteria optimization combined with the CALPHAD method. Based on this numerical tool we identify interesting composition spaces and study them by generating material libraries using combinatorial methods.
